Post Exam Stress??!!

Yep, you heard me correct. I am stressed up after the week 8 torture(refer to previous post=] )
Why so you ask? The bulk of Term 1 test results are going to be released this week so I am waiting with bated breath( NOT) to see how I have fared. For the better or worse, it is all up to fate...

Anyways, here I am discussing some stress relieve options. :) Goodbye stress ball, hello useful techniques for relieving stress.

First of all, its VERY important for one to find out what he likes to do. Reading, sports, even gaming, well not excessive gaming. For example gaming. Find a game that you like. Kind of obvious isn't it? Well you have to make sure that the game ifs both fun, yet not addictive. This is because being addicted can make one even more stressed. How? The person would be too engrossed in the game and want to achieve a higher level or status to show off to his fellow gamers. This sense of achieving something could be so overwhelming, that one would feel stressed if he does not manage to complete it.

Managing your time wisely can also help reduce stress. For example, if you have too many events cramped into a single day, you would feel the urgency to complete all of them at once, and this would in turn stress you up if you could not complete it. Worst yet, it could lead to procrastination. if you leave things to the last minute, the stress builds up even more, possibly causing headaches in some cases.

There you are. the two top tips on stress relieve. Well at least for me it is. :)

IT Week 9-Poem-Prejudice{Tom Robinson}(Musical)

Prejudice was never an option but an opinion then
Regardless of age, you are black, you were hated
Even the poor whites, detested

Justification was just a word and that was when the case was heard
Unanimously the verdict was cast
Dice was thrown, no turning back

I
n the end, was not a happy ending
Chased to the end, a life not worth living
Ended with a gunshot, the sky started pouring.

IT Week 9-Scout's diary(Intrapersonal)

Atticus was just amazing today! It all started when me and Jem decided to go exploring with our air-rifles to see if we could find a rabbit or a squirrel. Five hundred yards beyond the Radley's place, Jem seemed to have spotted a dog. He decided to tell Calpurnia about the dog but I didn't really see the point to at that time. He started acting out what the dog did to her when she seemed really annoyed, but then Calpurnia seemed to realise something. After leading her to the dog, she went all crazy and ran us home, grabbing us by our shoulder. She called Atticus and told him about a mad dog on the loose. We were told to stay in the house at all costs.

Soon, Atticus arrived with Heck Tate. After a brief exchange, Heck Tate handed the rifle over to Atticus. What was he thinking? Atticus could not shoot a gun even if his life depended on it!
Next thing we knew, Atticus had shot the dog dead. After that, miss Maudie actually said that our father was nicknamed One-Shot Finch! I never knew Atticus was so awesome. I am going to tell everyone at school on Monday.

IT Week- Learning Styles

My TOP 2 learning styles are:
1)Intrapersonal
2)Musical

This kind of stunned me for a second as musical was among the last four of my preferred learning styles the last time I took it, which was in the previous year. Music has really not been my thing as I'm not musically inclined neither am I a great singer. But I have to agree that I love music and it changes my mood every time I listen to a different song. :)

To be able to realise our own preferred learning styles would be a great advantage when it comes to studying or revising for tests. Also, learning about one's preferred learning style might actually be so useful that it might help you determine what job you want to do when you grow up, based on your preferences. For example, whether you like to work as a group or as an individual.
